An authentic tribute to Italian-Argentine cuisine inspired by our organic garden and the best products of Mendoza

The inspiration for our menu was twofold:

on the one hand the “Agostino Family” and its Italian roots – and the close relationship that food and wine have for them – and on the other hand the background of our famous chef “Edward Holloway” who made this surprising proposal available not not only his ideas but also the passion for excellence and his deep knowledge of the various cuisines of the world.

Thus was born this project that today we invite you to discover: a portion of Italy in Mendoza, or as we like to define it:

Mediterranean food with an Argentine twist

All the products we use are of the highest quality – a characteristic feature of Italian cuisine – and we also cook with seasonal fruits and vegetables that we extract every morning directly from our garden.

Edward Holloway

I was born in Ireland, I am a chef, dad, husband and a fan of Argentine cuisine, fires and, of course, wine!

I arrived in Mendoza after working in restaurants with two Michelin stars in Switzerland, and being in charge of the restaurants Uco, Fogón Asado and The Argentine Experience in Buenos Aires.

I also worked for a year in Spain and finally settled in Argentina where I fell in love with my wife Coni. Together we decided to settle in Bariloche, where we opened the emblematic Butterfly restaurant, which we managed for more than seven years.

Today we have two children with whom I have fun cooking at home, I also really enjoy inviting friends to join around the fire; and today you are my guests to discover this innovative proposal that, without a doubt, will make you travel to the heart of the memories of Sunday tables shared with the family.
